Robert Boggs is a trial lawyer practicing in Yakima, Washington. Yakima is a town of about 80,000 residents located east of the Cascade Mountains and is famous for its apple orchards and wineries. Over the years his practice has taken him through a wide range of subjects from family and criminal law to commercial litigation and personal injury both for the plaintiff and defense and employment law both public and private. Today he mostly confines his trial work to employment law, personal injury and civil rights law.

Rob grew up in the Great Lake States of Illinois, Wisconsin and Michigan. He graduated from Michigan State University in 1975 with a B.A. in Economics with high honors. His goal had always been to be a lawyer and to be in the great outdoors and so he migrated to Seattle, Washington (when Starbucks only existed in Seattle) and attended the University of Washington where he received his J.D. in 1978.

After graduating he took a job as a Deputy Prosecutor in Eastern Washington where the sun shines all the time.  He did that from 1978 through 1981 and while there tried numerous misdemeanor and felony jury trials.  It is also where he met his wife of 28 years going on 29. After that job he moved to Yakima, Washington where he was with the firm of Lyon, Weigand and Gustafson from 1982 to May 2010. Recently, he decided to do something he had always wanted to do and opened his own office where he could have more control over the cases he took and how they were conducted.

Form 2001 to 2004 he served as the Governor from the 4th District of the State of Washington on the Board of Governors of the Washington State Bar Association.  Since that time he has served on numerous committees for the bar association as well.  He is a member of the Washington State Association for Justice and the National Employment Lawyers Association.

He is admitted to practice in the state of Washington, both the Eastern and Western Districts of the Washington U.S. District Courts and the 9th Circuit Court of Appeals.
